Cushman Truckster

In 1989, Repower Specialists, Ltd. introduced it's first Repower Kit, a kit for the Cushman Truckster, at the GCSAA Show in Anaheim, California. Since then we have improved our kits and team them with the latest and best engines from Kohler Company, Briggs & Stratton and Honda. If you are running a Truckster originally powered by a Cushman 18 or 22 hp engine, a Kohler K-Series 12HP engine, or a liquid cooled gas powered Dihatsu engine, we have a replacement engine for you!

For the Cushman/OMC application we offer kits ranging from 13 to 25 hp. In Kohler's premier line, Command, we offer single cylinder 13 hp and V-Twin 20 and 25HP versions. The award winning Triad/OHC line is limitedly available as a V-Twin 18 hp option. The Briggs & Stratton Vanguard kit is available in a 18HP and a 23HP version. Finally, we offer Honda in an 20HP and 24HP V-Twin version. All of these engines come with a two year warranty and service available as close as your nearest dealer.

If your Truckster is currently powered by a liquid cooled Dihatsu engine, try one of our top of the line Kohler Command 25HP or Honda 24HP replacements. The initial cost, just over half of the cost of a Dihatsu replacement engine, is certainly of advantage. Then compare the availability and cost of replacement parts, the warranty and dealer service.
